A rapidly growing UK residential parks operator has strengthened its national footprint with the acquisition of four established sites, including the country’s largest park-home community.
The acquisition is Serenity Parks’ most significant to date and marks another step forward in the company’s strategy to build on its portfolio of high-quality residential parks across the UK.
The new sites, comprising more than 1,500 homes, include Kings Park Village on Canvey Island, Essex, together with The Elms in Torksey, Lincolnshire, Willowbrook in Lancing, West Sussex, and Sandy Oaks in Bestwood, Nottinghamshire.
Gary Burns, Founder of Serenity Parks, said: “These four sites are a great fit for Serenity. They are well-established, have strong resident communities and share the culture and approach that we are building across the business.
“Just as important are the teams who have made these places what they are. They know the sites, know the residents and have a proven track record of running them well. We’re pleased they will remain in place as part of the next chapter.”
He added: “There is a chronic undersupply of later-living properties for older homeowners looking to downsize, and modern residential parks have an important role to play in meeting that demand.
“This acquisition is a significant step forward for Serenity and gives us the scale and platform to keep building on the success of the business, while raising the bar for what people can expect from the residential parks sector.”
All existing team members will remain in place at all four sites following the acquisition, continuing in their current roles and day-to-day responsibilities while providing continuity for residents.
Alongside the acquisition, experienced operations leader Rob Turner has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Serenity Parks. He brings more than 29 years’ experience across the leisure, hospitality and residential parks sectors, together with a strong understanding of the four sites acquired through the deal.
Rob Turner said: “I’ve worked closely with these sites and the teams for a number of years, so I know what makes them work well and what matters to the people who live here.
“I’m really pleased to be taking on this role and to be able to bring that knowledge into Serenity, while playing my part in the continued growth of the business on the national stage.”
The new acquisition follows fast on the heels of Serenity Parks’ purchase of three residential park-home communities in Dorset and Hampshire last month. The business remains active in the market as it continues to explore further opportunities to expand its presence across the UK.
The new acquisition completed on 1 October 2026.
