Newly formed logistics brand Paxon, created by bringing together Active Ants, Staci and Radial, has appointed Anthony Heath, as Business Development Manager (BDM), continuing the expansion of its commercial team.
The third-party logistics (3PL) provider has made multiple BDM appointments in recent months, including Ranjit Singh Nagra, to support growth and to meet growing demand from international brands expanding into the UK.
Anthony brings more than 20 years of logistics expertise, having worked at UK Mail and EV Cargo, before establishing and leading logistics operations at sustainable construction leader, Saint-Gobain and later Clugston Global Logistics.
Most recently at DHL, he specialised in the large-item home and garden sector, overseeing new business development and managing key transport and warehouse accounts to drive revenue growth and EBIT improvement.
At Paxon, Anthony will focus on the company’s fast-paced, high-growth sectors including fashion, beauty, wellness and lifestyle.
Paxon is part of bnode, a global business with services in more than 200 countries. The 3PL has multiple sites across the UK, including Blackburn, Leicester, Northampton, Oldham and Wigan.
Anthony Heath said: “Paxon and the companies it encompasses have built a strong reputation for creating streamlined fulfilment operations for brands of all sizes. They’re known for developing strategic end-to-end solutions that deliver tangible results, and that’s exactly why I wanted to join the team.
“Logistics and fulfilment have a profound impact on customer loyalty and brand growth. Today’s customers expect speed, convenience, seamless returns and sustainable operations. I’m looking forward to working with clients to create solutions that meet these expectations.”
CEO Wayne Chapman said: “It’s an exciting time to join Paxon, and we’re delighted to have Anthony on board. He brings extensive experience and a strong understanding of tech-enabled, scalable fulfilment solutions that create genuine value for customers.
“E-commerce fulfilment is constantly evolving, with advances in technology and AI presenting new opportunities. We’re building a sales team that can keep pace with these changes, leverage data and market insight and provide strategic consultancy to help clients achieve tailored solutions that work for them. Anthony will be a key part of that capability.”
