Sapphire, the UK-based cyber security specialist, has opened a new office in Glasgow as part of its ongoing growth and expansion, following the launch of its North East base in Newcastle.
The new Glasgow office, located in the city centre, provides Sapphire with 4,500 sq ft of space, including a significantly expanded Security Operations Centre (SOC) that supports the delivery of its managed cyber security services to organisations across the UK.
The office also provides additional space for collaboration, training and development as the business continues to invest in its people and expand the services it provides to customers.
Founded in 1996, Sapphire is a pure-play cyber security business, providing managed security services and specialist consulting support across assurance, governance, risk and compliance. The company works with a broad mix of public and private sector organisations, from SMEs to large government bodies, across sectors including financial services, manufacturing, gaming and insurance.
The Glasgow expansion follows a period of sustained growth for Sapphire, with the business now employing more than 100 people and targeting further growth over the next couple of years, driven by increasing demand for outsourced cyber security skills and resources.
